Coconut Development Board invites tenders from insurance companies to provide 24-hour accident insurance coverage to coconut tree climbers, FoCT trainees, neera technicians, coconut farm and small-scale coconut industry workers, and DSP farm workers aged 18 to 65. The contract period is two years. Required policy benefits include death/permanent total disability coverage of Rs. 7,00,000, permanent partial disability coverage of Rs. 3,50,000, hospitalization expenses of Rs. 3,00,000, ambulance charges up to Rs. 3,500, temporary total disability compensation up to Rs. 21,000, and funeral expenses of Rs. 5,500. Premiums must be quoted per policy inclusive of tax.
