Description
Repairing of a twin hull type steel barge at the Narhatta government-owned and operated Major RLI Scheme in English Bazar Block, under Malda-I (A-M) Sub-Division and Division, as non-plan maintenance. Work includes barge shifting and blocking, steel repairs, surface preparation and painting, leak-proof testing, and transportation.

- Shifting of barge from the existing pin point to a suitable working site or place from RLI site and blocking of the barge by area cleareance,earth cutting winching jacking planking block fitting & unjacking & placing of the RLI site including tools, plants for blocking. — Qty: 1 Each
- Removing the pump sets installed on the barge from the foundation including disconnection & removal of suction & delivery assemblies from the barge to a secured place and re-fitting the same properly after the maintainence of the barge. — Qty: 2 Each
- Opening, strengthening & refitting of plates, angles. purlines, trusses, bolllard, expanded metal/ BRC net winch etc. as required and as per direction of the E.I.C. — Qty: 1 Each
- Acid treatment and removing rust corrosion etc. from the surface both inside and outside of hulls keels deck of the steel barge throughly as direction of the EIC. — Qty: 105.054 Sqm
- Chipping, scraping wire brushing & cleaning of the painted surface for keel, hull, frame, superstructure deck, fender both inside and outside as per direction of the EIC. — Qty: 1 Each
- Patch/ doubling work complete with 5 mm thk M.S. plate including welding, gas cutting, fitting, fixing complete. (a) Cost of 5 mm thk M.S. plate including wastage due to cutting, labour charge for straighting, fitting fixing in position. — Qty: 18.815 Sqm
- (b) Gas cutting to required size of 8 mm thk M.S. plate, N.S>C. channel etc. including labour charges , higher charges of all tools and plants. — Qty: 173.52 mtr.
- (c) Electric welding charge for 5 mm thk M.S. plate, M.S> channels etc. and other member of the barge including hire charges of all tools and plants. — Qty: 115.68 mtr.
- M.S. structuarl work in roof trusses etc with the following rolled structural members viz. angle, flat, bars etc. weighing less then 22 kg./ m connection to one another with brackets, cleats, bolts & nuts etc. as per design and direction complete including febrication hoisting & erection. (a) Suppling, fitting & fixing of M.S. angle for post rafter purloin etc and for joining the two hulls at both ends including gas cutting etc. (i) 45 mm x 45 mm x 6 mm — Qty: 2.8 mtr.
- (b) Suppling, fitting & fixing of M.S. flat bar including gas cutting etc. (i) 40 mm x 6 mm for straightening of B.R.C. net etc. including gas cutting. — Qty: 3.66 mtr.
- Supplying fitting fixing of 75 mm (NB) MS pipe including gas cutting and welding as fender of barge. — Qty: 10 mtr.
- Suppling, fitting and fixing of different size of bolt and nuts with washer for fixing door (10 to 16 mm dia) upto 75 mm length — Qty: 7 Kg.
- Suppling, fitting fixing 10 cm oxidized hinge (100 mm x 58 mm x 1.9 mm) for fixing door including the cost of welding. — Qty: 2 each
- Suppling, fitting fixing iron hasp bolt of approved quality (oxidized) & socket on the doors including the cost of welding. The bolt would be 30 cm. long and dia of bolt not less than 18 mm. — Qty: 1 each
- Suppling, fitting fixing of I.R.C. net (75 mm x 25 mm x 10 swg) with nuts and bolts of the barge including gas cutting etc. — Qty: 8 Sqm
- Suppling, fitting fixing complete with fastener :- Galvanized corrugated iron sheet work (including the supporting frame work) fitted and fixed with 10 mm dia "J" or "L" hook-bolts, limpet and bitumen washers and putty complete with 150 mm end lap and one corrugation minimum side lap with 0.63 mm thk sheet in roof. — Qty: 18.007 Sqm
- G.I. sheet ridging fitted and fixed with necessary bolts and nuts sctews, washers etc. complete with 0.60 mm sheets — Qty: 4.25 mtr.
- (a) Primming one coat on steel or other metal surface with synthetic enamel /oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surface by sand paper etc. — Qty: 192.458 Sqm
