Description

Providing and replacing damaged cable at the 220 kV Substation Piran Kaliyar, including cable supply, laying, termination kits, dismantling, installation and insulation resistance testing. Completion period is 60 days, subject to availability of shutdown.

Laying of 3.5 Core x 400 Sq. mm Aluminium Conductor XLPE power cable through the existing cable trench from Station Transformer-I LV side to the ACDB incomer panel, including opening and closing of existing trench covers, proper handling and positioning of the cable, maintaining the required bending radius, dressing and alignment of the cable and all other works necessary for safe, neat and proper laying of the cable. — Qty: 0.25 Km
Supply of suitable indoor termination kit for 3.5 Core x 400 Sq. mm Aluminium Conductor XLPE insulated power cable, complete with all necessary components and accessories required for proper cable termination at the indoor panel end. — Qty: 1 Nos.
Supply of suitable outdoor termination kit for 3.5 Core x 400 Sq. mm Aluminium Conductor XLPE insulated power cable, complete with all necessary components and accessories required for proper cable termination at the indoor panel end. — Qty: 1 Nos.
Carrying out insulation resistance testing of the newly laid 3.5 Core x 400 Sq. mm Aluminium Conductor XLPE cable before and after termination, including arrangement of suitable testing equipment, recording of test results and ensuring satisfactory insulation condition of the cable prior to charging/commissioning. — Qty: 1 Job
Dismantling of the existing damaged 3.5 Core x 400 Sq. mm cable connected at the Station Transformer-I LV bushing, including opening of the LV side panel/arrangement of the transformer, safe disconnection and removal of existing lugs/connectors from the LV bushing and carrying out all necessary incidental works with due care to avoid any damage to the transformer bushing, connected equipment and accessories. — Qty: 1 Job
Dismantling and removal of the existing damaged cable connected to the ACDB incomer panel, including opening of the ACDB incomer panel, safe disconnection and removal of existing cable lugs/connectors from the incomer breaker terminals, removal and handling of the damaged cable & associated accessories and completion of all incidental works required for making the panel ready for connection of the new cable. — Qty: 1 Job
Erection, installation and termination of indoor termination kit suitable for 3.5 Core x 400 Sq. mm Aluminium Conductor XLPE cable at the ACDB incomer panel by installation of suitable termination components and providing & fixing of suitable dual-rated (AL/CU) compression lugs/connectors, including crimping, tightening and all associated materials & incidental works required for a safe, reliable and electrically sound termination. — Qty: 1 Job
