CMDA Construction Wing invites bids for upgrading and improving roads in the Iron & Steel Market, Sathangadu, Chennai. The work includes pavement and road construction activities, including wet mix macadam, concrete pavement, reinforcement, pipes, joints and road marking. Contract period is 6 months from site handover. EMD is Rs. 4,20,500, with exemption for MSME/NSIC registered contractors.

- Providing and Construction of dowel jointed, Pavement Quality Concrete over of base Course with 53 grade cement , coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS 383, coarse aggregate 20 mm & 12.5 mm Granite/Basalt/Trap metal & clean seived approved sand conforming to the gradation asspecified in Table 600-3 of MORTH clause 602,. loading materials to cement conrete batch mix plant of adequate capacity ( normaly 25% more capacity than the paving equipment preferably 120 Cum/hour ) as per approved mix design satisfying the characteristic flextural strength of not less than 4.2 Mpa.
