Description

IUCAA invites technical and financial bids for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of an energy storage system for the existing uninterrupted power system at Aditi, IUCAA, Pune. The work includes 100 12 Volt, 160Ah SMF VRLA batteries, battery racks, cables and accessories, shifting and overhauling existing UPS equipment, and commissioning. Completion is required within 60 days from the eighth day after receipt of the work order. EMD is Rs. 1,11,000 and the bidder must meet the stated experience and turnover criteria.

Design, manufacture, supply and irection of structurally sound, high-load-bearing and modular battery rack systems fabricated from Mild Steel (MS)/Carbon Steel sections, using L-angle/square sections of size 40 × 40 × 4 mm or suitable equivalent section as per the required load capacity and site compatibility. The scope shall include cutting, drilling, welding, grinding, fabrication, leveling, alignment, provision of suitable supports/bracing and anchoring arrangements, as required at site. Suitable heavy-duty rubber pads of adequate thickness and load-bearing capacity shall be provided below the battery rack/supporting contact points to provide load isolation, minimize vibration and prevent direct metal-to-floor contact. The complete rack shall be properly surface-prepared, treated against corrosion and finished with durable powder coating. The rack shall be designed to safely accommodate the specified battery quantity and load, with adequate structural strength, stability, ventilatio — Qty: 495 KG.
Supply, laying & testing of Single Core, 95 sq. mm, 1100 V grade, FRLSH, multi-stranded, flexible copper conductor cable conforming toIS 5831:1984 (latest) with ISI mark, PVC insulated, sheathed, erected on provided wall/ trusses/pole/cable trays /trench/ pipe suitable for industrial use, including necessary fixing arrangements, Cable ties & Cable management, ferrules, dressing, and testing as required at site. — Qty: 240 Mtr.
Termination of Single Core, 95 sq. mm, 1100 V grade, FRLSH, flexible copper conductor cable using suitable tinned copper crimping lugs & heavy duty cable gland (IS:12943) at panel end (IS:8309/IS:8337), including cutting, stripping, dressing of cores, crimping, fixing, earthing, tagging, and making complete termination at both panel and user end as required at site. — Qty: 34 Nos.
Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 12 Volt, 160Ah, Factory charged SMF VRLA Batteries including all required connectors/fastners for interlinks, battery tags, seperators, terminal covers etc. complete as instructed by the engineer In-charge. — Qty: 100 NOS.
Supply, Installation, Termination & Testing of interlinks of single Core, Annealed Tinned Copper Conductor, Uninyvin cables rated for constant discharge current of 10 min of 160Ah battery & at least rated for 340 Ampere DC current conforming to IEC 60228 / IS 8130. Interlinks should be Heat Resistant for 105°C HR-PVC insulation cables with Fiber Glass, Nylon Braided Nylon Lacquering complete with appropriately sized crimped copper lugs at both ends, suitable fasteners (SS/brass as required) such as nuts, bolts, washers, etc. and all necessary accessories for secure termination and interconnection between individual batteries and battery banks, including routing, dressing, identification and making the system complete in all respects as required at site. Positioning, Assembly, Reconnection, Commissioning, Synchronisation & Testing of the two (2) ABB make 250 kVA UPS systems with loaded modules, along with the associated supplied battery banks, at the designated shifted location. The work shall include all equipment and accessories required for commissioning & synchronisation as per applicable UPS/OEM standards and site requirements. Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of an integrated UPS Remote Alarm Panel, suitable for receiving potential-free contact signals from the UPS and providing local audible and visual alarm indications. The panel shall operate on 100–270 V AC supply and shall be suitable for wall mounting in a metal enclosure. The system shall include potential-free contact inputs for visual LED indications of Load ON Battery, Mains ON, Inverter ON and Inverter Trip status/alarm signals from the UPS, with suitable interface circuitry, indication LEDs, buzzer and alarm acknowledgement facility.
