Description
The scheme aims to select project developers for setting up about 3 commercial-scale advanced biofuel projects, including 2G ethanol and SAF, based on non-food biomass and renewable feedstocks, under the Pradhan Mantri JI-VAN Yojana, extended till FY 2028-29. It promotes innovation, multiple technologies, and feedstocks, with financial assistance from central and state agencies, and mandates procurement agreements with oil marketing companies.
