Works tender for providing decorative poles and lights in the Main Market of MHC Manimajra, Chandigarh. The scope includes dismantling and re-erection of existing poles, supply and installation of decorative poles and brackets, junction boxes, wiring, cables, DWC pipes, earthing, civil foundations, and erection of LED lights. Estimated value is INR 1,615,512; EMD is INR 32,310.

Dismantling of existing Steel tubular pole along with fittings, Wire & bracket etc. & other material complete in all respect to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor shall hand over the dismantled material to the J.E. In-charge at central store in proper form duly accounted. — Qty: 12 Nos.
Dismantling & Re-Erection of existing Steel tubular pole 7.5/9 Mtr. Long along with Jn. Box, fittings with Wire & bracket etc. & other material complete in all respect. The pole shall be erected 1.5 Mtr. below the ground level in 8” internal dia ready made RCC muff. The gap between the pole and the muff shall be filled with the cement concrete 1:2:4. The cost includes all labour and material. The bottom portion upto 1.25 Mtr. of the pole should be painted with two coats of black bituminous paint after removing the dust. The job shall be completed to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. — Qty: 3 Nos.
Supply & Erection of Steel Pole 3.5 mtr. height are made of Galvanised Mild steel tubes having upper part is (Ø 90mm x 3mm) bottom part of the pole (Ø 140mm x 4mm) and length of pole (1000mm x 2000mm) made out of mild steel galvanised tubes. The bottom and middle part of the poles are fitted with cast Iron/Aluminium embellishments as shown in the drawing. The poles has a service window at the bottom containing 25 amp connector terminal and MCB of the desired rating. The antidoor theft strip 30mm x 4mm should be attached with junction box protection. The poles are primer coated and painted with polyurethane paint of the desired colour. Poles are suitable for Single/ Double/ Triple/ Four Side Post Top/Drop Down Luminaries. The Poles has a service window at the bottom comprising four way 25Amp Connector terminal and a MCB. Poles has a mild steel base plate having four numbers mounting holes as er drawing and can be mounted with four numbers anchor bolts. Prefered make Twinkle (Annexure A — Qty: 40 Nos.
Supply and Installation of double arm bracket having provision of installing two no. of decorative fittings. The double arm bracket should have dia so that it can be installed on decorative pole. The total width of the bracket should be minimum 1400 mm. Make of the bracket should be Twinkle-LuxMax (double) or equivalent of Bajaj, Keslec, Surya, Havells. The work shall be executed to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. — Qty: 9 Nos.
S/E of Collars including following:- a) The box shall be enclosed in a cement collar made form cement concrete 1:2:4 with outside dia. 16”. b) The collar shall be embedded in the ground up to 6” shall stand 9” above ground shall have housed 10” high SMC Box and 6” top over the box. c) The collar shall be provided with 2 PVC Pipes of 40mm dia. and 45cm long to facilitate entry of cables in the Jn.Box. d)n The collar shall be plastered properly finished, curing and painted with 2 coats of snowcem of superior quality. (e) Providing and Fing Junction box of size 250x200x100mm inside dimensions of thermosetting sheet moulding compound material of robust construction with double hinge, side clamp locking arrangement, provision for terminal strip (thimble type) of 30 amps rating suitable for minimum 4x16 sq.mm aluminium cable termination. The job includes the thimbling/connection of the incoming 4x16 cable as directed by EIC. The junction box should have two numbers PVC Glands with sufficient — Qty: 6 Nos.
Supply and fixing of 3 Core x 1.5 sq.mm Copper conductor flexible wire to be laid as per site requirement for the connection of the LED fittings as per latest IS standards of make Universal/ Polycab/ KEI/ Havells/ Cirtina or trechnically equivalent. — Qty: 200 Mtrs.
Painting and Numbering of 7.5/9 mtr long existing street light pole above ground level with two coats of Al. paint of superior quality alongwith single/ double/ triple arm/ round bracket. The pole surface should be cleaned well by removing dust/rust & other depositions .The job includes cost of labour required for holding the ladder and controlling the traffic while using crane/ boom.Numbering on the pole be done on two sides on each pole by painting 4" dia round with yellow paint and make number with black paint. The Cement collar around the pole should be painted with two coats of good quality white colored snowcem. The job includes the cost of paint of existing Junction box cover with Red paint and any other petty material require to complete the job to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. — Qty: 6 Nos.
G.I. Earth pipe electrode with salt/ Charcoal: Supply and laying of earth electrode made out of ISI marked 'B' class G.I. pipe 4.5 Mtr. long 40 mm dia including accessories. GI pipe electrode shall be cut tapered at the bottom and provided with holes of 12mm dia, drilled not less than 7.5 cm from each other upto 2 Mtr. of length from bottom. The earth electode shall be laid in ground after boring as per CPWD specificationscomplete in all respect and to the entire satification of the engineer-in-charge. — Qty: 43 Nos.
P/F 6 SWG GI earth wire in pipe: Providing & laying earth connection from earth bottom of the electrode with 6 SWG dia G.I. wire and from top of the electrode upto pole or pedestal with proper connection with nuts and bolts in 15mm dia GI pipe from earth electrode, as required complete in all respects. The work shall be executed to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. — Qty: 225 Metre
Supply & laying of ISI marked 4 core 16 mm sq PVC INSULATED Aluminium armoured cable loose in trench/ pipe:- Supply & laying of ISI marked 4 core 16 mm sq Aluminum conductor armoured cable of make Havell's/ Ecko/ Lapp/ Cirtina/ Polycab/ KEI conforming IS:1554 (Pt.1) amended. The cable shall be laid as per DSR Code 7.5.1 . The job included all Connections, Commissioning and testing of phase. Supply complete in all respective to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. — Qty: 1000 Mtrs.
Supply & Erection of DWC pipe 50/63mm with hand bockey:- Supply and laying of 50/63 mm (I/D& O/D) Double Wall Corrugated (DWC) High Density Polyethylene pipe (HDPE Density 240 to 958 KG/Cm3) having corrugation on the outer wall and plain surface inner wall with average wall thickness for outer layer as 1.1+0.1mm and for inside layer 1.2+0.1mm maintenance free, ‘C’ value over 150 with lowest frictional losses, anti rodent, inflammable & good weathering resistance, conforming to IS 14930 (P-II) and PSEN-50086 (P-I & II) of Make Duraline/Rex/Gemini. The pipe should be laid 3 feet below ground/road level with hand bockey without cutting of road for laying cables etc. including cost of digging and refilling of pits complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.DSR CODE 14.15.1 — Qty: 780 Mtrs.
Supply & Laying of DWC pipe 50/63mm with out hand bockey:- Supply and laying of 50/63 mm (I/D& O/D) Double Wall Corrugated (DWC) High Density Polyethylene pipe (HDPE Density 240 to 958 KG/Cm3) having corrugation on the outer wall and plain surface inner wall with average wall thickness for outer layer as 1.1+0.1mm and for inside layer 1.2+0.1mm conforming to IS 14930 (P-II) and PSEN-50086 (P-I & II) of Make Duraline/Rex/Zen duct /Gemini.. The pipe should be laid below ground/road level by digging the ground upto75 cm less excavation or cutting the road/paver blocks upto required level & laying of DWC pipe for laying L.T. Supply & Erection of Three Phase Aluminum Bus Bar Supply & Erection of Single Phase Aluminum Bus Bar of size 300mmx25mmx25mm with L type fuse unit covered with the heat shrink insulation sheet to be fixed on Porcelein insulators in the existing pedestal with required material.
