Description
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive mechanized and manual cleaning, housekeeping and allied services at the BMC Engineering Hub premises in Worli, Mumbai. The work includes cleaning roads and open premises, office areas, public and office toilets, and providing skilled plumbing manpower. Contract period is 31 working days.

- 3 Providing mechanized and manual cleaning of public and office toilet areas, including floors, walls, sanitary fixtures, wash basins, urinals, WC pans, partitions and other accessible surfaces, by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuum cleaning and other suitable cleaning methods, using suitable mechanized cleaning equipment, tools and tackles, including supply and application of approved high-grade cleaning agents, disinfectants, detergents and other necessary consumables, deployment of adequate manpower, collection and removal of dirt, stains, waste and other debris generated during cleaning, and all necessary machinery, tools, tackles and incidental works, complete as directed and to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. - Providing skilled manpower as “Plumber” for carrying out routine and emergency plumbing maintenance and repair works in the building premises, including inspection, identification and rectification of defects in water supply, sanitary, drainage and plumbing installations; attending to leakage, blockage, choking and other plumbing-related complaints; repair/replacement of defective taps, valves, pipes, fittings, traps, sanitary fixtures and other associated components; and carrying out minor plumbing alterations and allied works as required.
