Description
Open tender for analogue microfilming of old historical documents, manuscripts, printed records and rare books preserved at the Directorate of Archives, Mumbai and its sub-divisional offices. The work includes microfilming and providing backup on microfilming roll, with indexing and all required inputs. Estimated value is Rs. 30 crore; work must be completed on or before 25 March 2027.

- Documents required: Covering letter, Power of Attorney/Authorization with company seal for the person signing the bid documents, List of clients/organizations where similar work has been conducted, including name and address, Company profile and financial status, Audited balance sheets for 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26, Proof of permanent office in Mumbai, Maharashtra or another place in Maharashtra, PAN card copy, GST registration copy, Vendor experience details (Annexure IV), List of equipment to be deployed at Archives premises, Proof of experienced/trained staff for handling fragile manuscripts, Undertaking on Rs. 500 stamp paper that the bidder has not been blacklisted for the last three years, Commitment for a minimum of 95,000 frames per day, Technical write-up on the company's standing in analogue microfilming, especially of rare and fragile documents, Self-certificate confirming adequate infrastructure, knowledge of analogue microfilming, and storage and retrieval facilities according to international standards, Work orders and satisfactory work completion certificates for qualifying analogue microfilming work, Physical test strip of at least 4 metres of 35mm un-perforated polyester-base silver-gelatin negative microfilm, with sufficient leader and trailer, Test strip details: camera and processor make, date of exposing negative, date of processing, and reduction ratio, Proof of online EMD payment
