BEML Limited invites quotations from OEMs of railway rolling stock for mainline current collection testing of a prototype train set at the NHSRCL Depot in Surat and on the MAHSR Corridor. The service is for the Standard Gauge High Speed Train Project (Chair Car, design/operating speed 280/249 kmph). Testing is tentatively scheduled between April 2027 and August 2027.
