Description
Works tender for fabrication and erection of mild steel engineered drum storage racks at INRP-NRB, Kalpakkam. Scope includes use of free issue materials, supply of specified MS structural materials, fabrication, welding, painting, erection, inspection, and submission of as-built and quality documentation. Completion period is nine months from the 15th day of issue of the work order.

- Fabrication and erection of "Mild Steel (MS) Engineered Drum Storage Racks" using Free Issue Materials (FIM) as per approved drawings (Ref. No.: DUOSF(K)/318/20052024/1,2,3 of 3). The scope includes collection and shifting of FIM conforming to IS 2062 Grade B and IS 808 from section stores to the fabrication yard, preparation and approval of fabrication drawings, and approval of QAP and NDT procedures. The fabrication scope covers material identification, marking, cutting, shot blasting, priming, SMAW welding, alignment, grinding, LP/DPT testing, painting, coating thickness verification, safe storage, and submission of as-built drawings and QA documentation. The erection scope includes transportation from INRP Kalpakkam yard, placement with temporary supports, alignment, GTAW root and SMAW fill welding of joints, 100% DPT for critical joints and 10% for others, final alignment, touch-up painting, and inspection. All required tools, tackles, cranes, and handling equipment shall be arran — Qty: 370 MT
