Description
Expression of Interest to shortlist government entities for a comprehensive scientific assessment of greenhouse gas emissions and carbon sequestration across the 140 sq. km Union Territory of Chandigarh study area, including Sukhna Wildlife Sanctuary. The study includes emissions inventory, carbon stock assessment, GIS mapping, projections, mitigation scenarios and a carbon neutrality roadmap. The tentative study duration is 8–10 months from award, to be finalised at RFP stage.

- Documents required: Covering letter on the official letterhead of the Department/Institute, duly signed by the Head of the Institute/Department or the Competent Authority, Department/Institute Profile containing details of the mandate, legal status, departmental structure, and relevant experience, Documentary evidence establishing a minimum of ten (10) years of research experience in Forestry, Environment, and/or Climate Change, Details of the qualifying Carbon Footprint (Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory) and/or Carbon Sequestration Assessment study, Work Order/Letter of Award, Agreement/Contract, Completion Certificate, Final Project Report, Project Completion Report issued by the concerned Government Department/Institute
